Empty Vein Ablation

Thanks to its proprietary technology, for the first time in history, I-VASC can safely remove blood circulation from the vein portion where treatment needs to be performed

The drug is injected in an empty portion of vein, under control and can be RECOVERED before the procedure ends avoiding its dilution into the circulatory system

Without the blood and its dilutive effect, quantity and concentration of drug to be injected is potentially less than any other ablation procedure

DEVELOPED FOR ALL VEIN SIZES

Developed in two versions to be used on veins of all sizes, the device is applied in the treatment of lower limb veins

SAFE TECHNOLOGY

The device allows the target section of veins to be isolated and drained to be treated, and it allows the reabsorption of the injected drug at the end of the procedure, preventing any side effects

EFFICIENT TREATMENT

Released into a section of the vein that lacks blood, ensuring its effectiveness at a very low concentration since it is not diluted.

MINIMALLY INVASIVE TREATMENT

The procedure takes few minutes and can be performed in an oupatient setting under local anaesthesia causing minimum disconfort. The patient can then resume their normal life immediately at the end of the procedure.

The device is an innovative 3-way catheter with 3 inflatable balloons easily managed thanks to a dedicated and proprietary handle: a long central balloon that empties the vein, two distal spherical balloons that isolate the emptied section of the vein and a third lumen that transports the drug into the empty space around the central long balloon, to manage the drug’s concentration in the absence of blood
